About Course

About Course

The General Biology course explores the fundamental principles of biology, including cell structure and function, genetics, evolution, ecology, and physiology. Students will investigate how living organisms interact with each other and their environments, and how biological processes underpin life at the molecular, cellular, organismal, and ecosystem levels.

The course emphasizes scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and the application of biological knowledge to solve real-world problems in health, environment, and biotechnology.

What will you learn?

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of core biological concepts and processes.

  • Analyze the structure and function of cells, tissues, and organ systems.

  • Evaluate genetic principles and mechanisms of inheritance in organisms.

  • Explore evolutionary processes and ecological interactions shaping biodiversity.

  • Apply biological knowledge to address real-world challenges in health, environment, and biotechnology.
